We’re black america 250
Did you know that African Americans have contributed to shaping nearly every facet of U.S. history, from the fight for independence to groundbreaking cultural movements?
Black America 250 is a unique initiative celebrating these profound legacies as part of the U.S.'s semiquincentennial connecting past achievements to future generations. During this year and beyond our goal is to honor these stories through dynamic experiences that highlight the power and influence of African American culture across the nation.
As the U.S. approaches its 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026, we invite you to be part of a movement that highlights the legacy of Black contributions that have shaped this nation.
Black America 250 will run throughout 2025 and beyond, creating a digital hub for community engagement and economic growth by promoting travel through local events, cultural landmarks, and attractions. This journey for us is not just about preserving history; it's about generating revenue, supporting Black-owned businesses, and sustaining cultural tourism.
To make this vision a reality, we are seeking partners—corporate sponsors, destinations, and organizations—to collaborate with us in showcasing unique cultural attractions that will drive long-term visitation and engagement.
Your destination is an important part of the story.

OUR
Approach
Our partnership strategy is rooted in collaboration with organizations that share a genuine passion for showcasing unique cultural experiences. Between 2024 and 2025, we will actively promote these partnerships at key industry tradeshows, virtual engagements, and through curated newsletters, ensuring broad visibility across platforms.
We want to use this digital platform to bring joy, visibility, and storytelling to the traveler, but we know we can’t do that alone. Together, we will craft a digital travel guide that highlights African American heritage throughout the U.S., making the 250th anniversary a meaningful and immersive celebration for all.
